were can I apply for fed grant?

I am interested in obtaining a grant or scholarship pertaining to graduate work in Psychology or Political Science. I do not have many funds for studying, and I have had to take of a semester or two off as a result of financial instability. I have a 4.0 in Psychology, a 3.8 in pre-requisite work since 2010, and a B.A. in History from the University of Maryland at College Park. If there is someone who can offer some insight into the process, please let me know. I will be so grateful. I have great potential, but that potential is limited by my financial situation. I can be an asset to the educational and professional community.

 in response to Mother concerned...   I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I am now attending school, and I am almost done. I found out yesterday that I only have 27 more credits to finally recieve my degree. That is only 9 classes. A terrible thing has happened in my life, two weeks ago I lost my job that helped me pay for school in cash every semester. I will not be disuaded though, I will find a way to keep paying for school. Please award me some money so i can reach my full potential, and not go back to bartending until I retire from my career in the future.

so is my "child" considered as part of the Disadvantaged Students because she got married and divorced and we said we're not paying for you and she's under 24?
